Londiwe, I remember you. FIrstly thank you so much for standing with me and admitting that there was racism in that school - the admitting part seems to be something that people don't want to do. For the most part I've just been seen as someone who is stirring up trouble for no reason as if our experiences and those of the children of colour still at that school don't matter.

It's painful to hear what youre describing but I do advise that legal reasons you change the names ;).

The zulu thing was ridiculous, I didn't realise how fundamentally wrong it was until I said something in zulu the other day, por tried to, and a friend started laughing. Also interesting how the only bits of zulu the that they thought to teach us were the ones that help you communicate with "the help". ANd the excuse that the language was troo hard to carry onto high school? My goodness
