I believe it was Kafka who said “Art is for the artist is only suffering through which he releases himself for further suffering.”

You ca't tell artists to just stop writing if it feels miserable at times. a lot of us do this because we are at times misearable.

Neither can you gatekeep an art and say only those who act and feel a certain way are qualified to, and should consider it a career
